Superfoods are the foods which are power packed with nutrients. They contain a high volume of minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. Including these superfoods as a part of your diet leads to major benefits in your health. It lowers risk of many lifestyle-related health conditions such as diabetes, cancer etc. and regulates body weight.
Turmeric is a spice which is most commonly used in Asian food, almost everyday. It is bright yellow in color and hence it is used for food coloring as well. It is bitter in taste but has amazing medicinal properties. It has anti-inflammatory properties and acts an antioxidant. Turmeric has a component called curcumin that has scientifically-proven health benefits, such as the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer.
